This was actually the first set of placemats that I did. I wanted to try this set, but was not certain how much fabric I would need. I decided that I would use up some of my stash, and did not have enough of the reverse color to do the entire set. So.... I did gingham on two, and then polka dot on the other two. I think that I actually like them this way too. I may get to keep this set, for my older daughter picked out a very Spring floral for me to do her set in.
