I would use a med weight cut away...But you may have to try some iron on...best to try different ones on scrap!!

It will depend on the wt of the flannel. try some med. wt. tear-away & see if that doesn't work for u. *

I just hoop up the material and medium tearaway or use some iron on( can use both). I would then float some heavy or medium cutaway under the hoop if its a dense design works fine for me good luck :)
