(1) Do you have and like EQ (2) Have you checked out this free QuiltAssistant software. (I don't have EQ, but I think the info on EQs site, and demos I've seen are interesting.) As far as the software below, I haven't clicked on the down arrow yet .. I'm waiting to hear from you CUTIES. Thanks in advance.

Try it some time. It is as addictive as embroidery.

They state clearly that QuiltAssistant does not compare with EQ, there's no library, no way to design complete quilts, but you can make a block from a picture and print it with seams. Or draw a simple traditional block. Sounds interesting, have not DLed and tried.

Thanks for correcting me. I thought that both things mentioned there were part of the same program. Since I didn't download it, I didn't see or understand that it "does not compare with EQ" .. that is why I asked. Where did you see that? The other part said that "FabLib is free software for scanning fabric swatches for use in e.g. Electric Quilt." I just wondered how they fit together.

With EQ you get free monthly fabric samples that you can download to the Fabric library. You can also scan your own fabrics into EQ and save them in the library.
