I did these doilies a few weeks ago, but did not post, as I thought that I was going to give them to my daughter. Well, she wants another color to go in the room that she is redoing with the antique furniture that belonged to my parents. She did like the design, and I love it. I will do more of these.

Beth, this is one of my favorite designs - every time I look at it - it reminds me of my paternal grandmother - you did a great job - what color does your daughter want you do her a set in? *4U

She wants the ivory - I think it was a Metro color she picked out.

LOL I was thinking the same thing Daisy. They turned out so pretty.
Ok - both of you are very funny. I tried to give them to my younger daughter, and she asked me to wait - she is trying to reorganize her house. They may not be around when she wants them. LOL

Very lovely. I love the pineapply design. Please, where did you get the design? My mother made hand crocheted doilies and table cloths that looked much like this.

For those of you asking - this design comes from Skeldale House - the Double pineapple design.

Ph - and thanks to all of you for you kind remarks. I think this is one of my favorite - as Shirlene said - reminds us of what our grandmothers did.

Oh Miss Loretta - so glad to see you here. I hope you are well. And think of you often. These are very much like what our grandmothers made, aren't they? Hugs
