OK, so I started these in December 2008, a week before I hopped on the medi-go-round with breast cancer. But I did finish them this weekend after reading Daisy's post and accepting the gentle nudge to finish something. Thanks Daisy.

I was disappointed with these as there were so many jump stitches to have to trim, but I suppose they finished OK. They were from Gorgeous Stitches and I put all six in an 8" x 14" hoop, making up over 158,000 stitches.

I added some glitter to the bells while they were still wet.

Thanks for peeking, hugs n roses, Meganne

Meg, these are great - glad you took the challenge - I am happy to see that you finished these even though you hate those jump stitches - I only did one from this series for that very reason. But I like the end result.

well - my fingers worked faster than my brian - I meant to say - are you getting ready for Christmas, and adding the glitter - oh well, hope you got my meanings, and not my spellings. Hugs

Yes Dlonna, I am hoping to make Christmas cards and hang these in the centre so if people throw away the card they will still have a tree ornament. hugs n roses, M

I just hate unnecessary jump stitches... :-( But Meg, these came out gorgeous! The glitter adds the touch. Do you spray anythign on them to keep the glitter from flaking off?
