thanks* and here is my thought on posting... The "Community" on Cute is much like a "kitchen" is to a home...this is where everyone gravitates to and will be seen...Just as things have changed on cute and many of the newbies (me being a newbie myself) sometimes just get a little confused with all the "sections" and "tabs" and we are still learning..I myself don't see what the harm is...I have visited the other sections and many of them have very old postings..so that is why we all seem to go where the action is! * to you my dear friend!

I myself would like to THANK all of you for posting freebies and non freebies. I appreciate all that you do. I forget which are the sites. All I do is ask and you all respond so kindly. So again THANK YOU...

I wouldn't worry about the .0001% that don't like posting free designs sites etc. The rest of us do appreciate everyone's help. Don't ever be sorry for being helpful and generous. You can't please everyone and never will. Just keep on informing those of us that do look forward to the posts.

I am not sure what all the commotion is about I am relatively new and have only used the community site because I have only been following the crowd. I love all the input from so many different people. Community suggests that is where people gather. I am sorry if I have posted in the wrong location. I love to hear about freebies and when I have time I go and look at them. Hi gerryvb, It's not the posting of freebies that is causing a problem, it's the posting under the incorrect heading of "Community" instead of correctly under "Designs". Community is intended for sewing and embroidering topics but is being hijacked with the posting of freebie sites. That's how I interpret it anyway. I don't think there is any intention of doing away with freebie posting as such, just alerting folks to post in the right section. Hope that clears any confusion, and thank you for the reminder.

It is sad that you have to wonder if you should or shouldn't do something for your friends!!!!Do not worry, freebies are always welcome.Hugs.

I like to know about free designs, but when they are posted 3-4 times it gets annoying. I know using the bookmarks, it would tell you if the site had been posted before. I look back 5-6 pages before posting a new link . It was great to come here and have questions answered and hear the ups and downs of everyone's life, now it's a major freebie posting.
