This is very nice, thank you. She attaches the second layer before sewing the seams, but it would work as well on existing garments. But I think the bottom layer has to be rather sturdy.

Thanks. I'm checking it out and think my neighbour will love this for her girls. Of course that means I get to do the sewing but that's fine. Cute idea.
