I just love this design, I posted an earlier project where I had framed it as a picture, this time I made it into a cushion for my sister's birthday. She loved it!!! It is embroidered on suede fabric and I have used blue satin to "frame" it. I tried to match one of the water colours in the satin. The design is from Creative Design Embroidery, one day I might get to do one of these for me... I hope you like it.

Claire, This cushion is just lovely. Nice work. Treat yourself and make one for yourself - I don't know why we always make for friends and family and we are always last in the row. I am just like that.

I just love this design it looks great as a picture and great as a cushion, if you had others you could put them together and make a big wall hanger and you would feel like you are outside if they were close enough together. Beautiful work claire. Love it.

Just Lovely Claire, and yes you have matched the satin with the water colour so well, I love my framed one of this design and is on my dining room wall as the wall is a light blue, well done Claire and yes I agree you should make one for yourself. Well done!!

I looked at the design at the website and it says it is around 6 inches tall. Did you enlarge it, cause yours sure looks bigger than that. I would love to buy it if it was a bigger design. It is so pretty! Thanks!

Well spotted, yes I did enlarge it. Mine measures approx 200 x 275mm. I enlarged it using my generations software. Cheers Claire
It looks like it didn't change in appearance too much with it enlarged. I'm going to have to get it and try that. It's really one of the prettiest designs that I've ever seen. Thank you!
