Does anyone know what the best format is to have my pictures in if I'm going to digitize them in PE Design?

Do you mean photos, like of family & pets, or clip art? I always download clip art in vector files as well as jpg and bmp. Photos, I usually fuss with in my photo editing program first, then import into Digitizer Pro in jpg. I imagine PE design would support bmp, jpg, wmf and vector files. Bmp's are of course much larger & memory-intensive than jpg's. If your computer RAM is a factor, use jpg's. Hope you get answers from those who have PE design. Hugs, Marji

I was thinking about clip art and drawings that I may scan in.
jpg, or wmf, bmp's are way too big. Scan in all the colors, and reduce the colors in your photo program or in Paint. You can further reduce the colors in your software, but it works out better if you do it in one of the other programs, you have much more control over the editing process.

I use .jpg or wmf for clipart. Just my preference for my digitizing program
