What I remember - can't check as I deleted it - you load the design and then click on the left tab (File, I think) choose 'save as' and add .pes behind the name. That's all.

Open file.
Select type of file or choose 'all files'.
Click on folder in which you keep your files to be converted.
Image of design appears on screen.
Click 'save as' under file.
Choose type of file in lowest drop down menu (such as .pes).
If converting to .pes, three hoop sizes are offered.
Choose.
If a message says "This design does not fit the hoop. Do you wish to save it?" Click cancel.
Try again and choose a larger size hoop.
All done.

Thanks for asking this question. Spent hours trying to figure it out. Easy when you know how. Flowers for all for the help.
