PLS HELP busy stitching a pram freebie. It does the bonnet, carriage and back part, then i change colour for the wheels and it stitches the wheels over back part and not in the correct place-help

Did you check the amount of stitches in the design before you started stitching? Rule of thumb- for every 10,000 use one layer of stabilizer.
What are you stitching it on? It is probably digitized to go on cotton.
Are you using the correct needle size and a good quality embroidery thread?
Are you using good quality bobbin fill?
Did you hoop it correctly- not drum tight, but not too loose, either?
Also, it could be a bad digitizing job.

I am stitching on towelling (nappy for a burp cloth)if it is digitised for cotton can I change it? What is the recommended needle size, my embroidery thread is a good one as well as the bobbin fill. Whether I hoop it or lay it on the self adhesive stabiliser it still does it. The design is rotated - I have selected the whole design and moved it - it is right on the comp screen - could this be prob?
Have you stitched it out before rotating on a piece of testing material? I would never use a freebie - or any other new design for that matter - without testing it first.

When I have had this problem it was because the embroidery arm didn't move right.

I do not think this is the prob. other designs are fine.

I had a similar problem with a large parrot, the parrot stitched beautiful, the outline went all over the place, all I needed was a second sheet of stablizer - worth a try, if not it just may be a lousy design - happens with freebies and sometimes ones you buy...Good luck.

If you are stitching on toweling you must use iron on tear away stabilizer on the back, then slip the appropriate number of layers of normal tear away under the hoop. Also use Solvy on top. That is the plastic looking wss. Toweling is cotton, but woven much more loose then normal cotton fabric. Here is a direct link on tips to embroider on toweling.
