What is the "gismo" called and where do you buy it, that is need with the Heirloom Alpha, from the Needle of Ann?

I see 'From the Needle of Anne' has 50% off at the moment. Love her designs. That is at OregonPatchworks.
Please explain in more detail what you are searching for.....

The eyelet punches that I use, I bought as a set from a hardware store, but they should be available at craft outlets as well

I think you are talking about an eyelet punch. I got one at my sewing machine dealers...you can also get one at Nancys Notions. I have the one that comes with a button hole cutter and a TINY little mat to cut on. Love it. Mine happens to be a White brand, but there are others.

Oldandgrey gave you the answer. My embroidery/sewing machine came with an eyelet punch, so you might check to see whether or not your machine came with a similar type tool. It would be a small tool that looks similar to a stylus.

So that's what it's called an eyelet punch. Thanks to all of you.

Oh wow, I didn't even realize that. When I go to Joanne Fabrics I will be sure to get one. I don't think my machine came with one.
