On my machine, the Bernina 440 QEE the automatic tensioon is shown by a red line that is between the 3 and the 5. Try unplugging your machine and put your tension setting there and then plug it back in and turn it on. Also on the Bernina when you embroider, you must put the thread through the "finger" on the bobbin, but when you are just sewing, you do not thread the finger. I hope this helps you. The "feather alphabet" is at cutealphabets.com with A starting on page 10 and coming backward to Z on page 6. You would need to join this site "CuteEmbroidery.com" to be able to go to the alphabet site and get the ones that you have missed.
