Choosing colors for a design is not my strong point, and I am new to this location. Are there color charts for the downloaded designs or am I on my own with that? Sure would be great if my work turned out to look at least similar to your pretty pictures. Thanks for all you share with us.

The site is right now still in the testing phase. I imagine that a color chart will be added in the future

Hi brenoreo! You don't need any software for this: the color chart is on each design's page. Scroll down to "Color Chart" — it lists every color change in stitching order, with the Madeira Rayon number and a swatch.
For designs you already have, open My Stash and tap "Start stitching →" next to the design. It opens the same chart as a step-by-step checklist you can tick off at the machine.
New this week: if you don't stitch with Madeira, open "Stitching with another thread brand?" in the Color Chart and pick up to three brands you own. Under each color you'll see the closest thread among them. It is matched by color on screen, so treat it as a starting point. Found a better match? Save it with "My thread" in the checklist and it will show up on every design with that color.
Happy stitching, Cuties!
