Has anyone ever used the Swarovski Crystals on their designs? Is it an easy process? TIA ;D

Yes I have used them. They add a lot to them and are very pretty. They are not hard to put on at all. There is a wand you can buy, I got mine at hobby lobby, that has several size tips so you can use several size stones. Just heat it up, touch to the stone , touch to your project. DONE! Very nice

Yes and they are wonderful and add an element of sparkle to the design....I have several designs specially designed for use with crystals...I just bought some someman ones that are sooooo cute...They have several others but here are some halloween ones that I bought too! I use a hotfix tool to apply them...they are about 10 dollars and come with several tip sizes for different size crystals.

Yes and I love them.

I sewed some designs on the legs, and tops of jeans and used the Swarovski pressed with a heating tool to the jeans. They really add a lot of sparkle to the designs and amazingly over the numerous times I have washed my jeans very few have come off.

This is a good question, I never have used them. Do they hold up during many washings? H&*

I have only used Jewel It glue. I don't know if it is better than heat setting. Anybody want to comment?

Thanks for asking. I have been thinking about them for a while and was wondering if they would stand up to washing.

I have put them on tee shirts for the grand daughters & they have been washed a LOT! Still on there! But they are NOT put in the dryer. Don't know if they would hold up to the heat...probably move around! The girls love all the glitz! I use one of the heat tools to apply them.

I too have used Swarovski Crystals on Numerous projects and have not had a problem! Used the process described below (special heating tool - wand)... Just make sure that you do heat the crystal enough so that the glue melts thoroughly and press firmly - that will ensure it will stick securely to your article.... Well that is what I found when I used these crystals and I have never had a problem with them coming off in the wash!

Monica, I enjoy emblishing with Swarovski Crystals - I believe that the designs made for them - work better - but anything that you stitch out can look better - by adding Swarovski Crystals - I have used them alot and found no reason to worry - if they are applied correctly and cared for properly.

Cared for properly... yikes.... I have put them on my girls clothes, and they get chucked in the wash with everything else.. certainly no special care! So far they have stayed stuck!
