You'll get there Gerry - just takes time to heal those bones. I can empathise with you as I've had both my arms done with carpal tunnel - of course it's not a break, but you aren't allowed to do anything with your hands for quite a while. The hardest thing I found was doing up the bra and pulling up your undies when going to the loo! LOL it was a funny site. God's blessing on you for a quick healing. Love Chris

you should see me with the bra:I don't open the closing.just pull it all the way down to step out of it. or step in to it and pull the whole thing upwards. it's a good thing I haven't that much weight. I'm 1,69 cm and 54 kg. hehe, but it's like acrobatic every time.

Hee hee hee, good thing you are little, Gerry! Think how much exercise you're getting, you'll be able to join a circus after this with your bra acrobatic act!! Hugs, Marji

I had my hand operated on several years ago, and was left-handed for 6 weeks as well. It's hard!! Bras, buttons, brushing your teeth left handed (I almost got the toothbrush up my nose several times), but the worst thing was typing!! I do 90 WPM, and couldn't think how to 'hunt and peck'! Do take care of yourself, and try not to hurt anything else, Gerry!! Many hugs, Marji

been left handed all my life and still get aggrivated with all tools being RIGHT handed. The up side to being born left handed is you learn to do lots of things right handed because it is just not logical to fight (like with the tools) I hope you get better quickly, however, remember by using your left hand you are giving the right brain a chance to get a work out and build up those muscles!;)

Some thing to think about. When I was in collage getting my teaching degree we had to take a class called "Art for the Young Child." Everyday someone would present an art project and the Dr. that was teaching made us do everything with our non domanate hand so we could see how difficult it would be for the children. We all stuggled with this except one girl who was amadextrise. LOL Hope you heal soon.
