Oh, Monica, is John Deer himself teaching you???? Personally, one on one? Yeee-haw but that sounds awfully expensive to me. My dealer offers free embroidery classes for those who have bought machines from her, and for all others the classes are usually $10, and that's for a 2-hour class. If you have to purchase materials, of course, that would be extra. Are you sure the $50 isn't for a 'project' class of some kind, where you get all the materials and take home a finished project, like a purse or something? Gosh, but that seems awfully expensive! none of these say how expensive they are - way would your dealer quote a price - if it wasn't what it was? I do beleive his events are expensive, but I do hope that means that it is a two day event or a workshop and you do receive designs and a project to work on and take home. *4U

Let me clear it up...the "John Deer's Event" is $59.95 for 2 days and $39.95 for 1 day. The embroidery lessons would come through the store not event...I hope it's clearer ;D *2U

That is entirely too much, maybe she meant the event would be $50.00. Most shops have an embroidery class and they range from $10 to $15.00<br />per class plus any materials you'll need. If you bought your machine at this retailer they should go through everything with you for free at least a couple of times.

If John Deer is teaching the class it should be more. He was suppose to come to my Dealer's but not enough people signed up. The class was $100 per person and so many had to pay and sign up before he would come.
