have said there isn't much they can do now.....My father-in-law lost his oldest boy in '97..he lost his oldest child , a girl last year...His brothers and sisters are slipping away (14 in all) little by little..He lost a brother 2 weeks ago and now his wife of 58 1/2 years is losing the strength to do things by herself..I hate to see her the way she is knowing theres nothing left but a little time...I know she believes in Jesus so I do not worry about her soul..She has lost so much weight in the past few days and she is on a liquid IV diet....I really believe in my heart that the Lord needs to release her from her earthly body so she can be free in her heavenly spirit....I will ask only for prayers that my father-in-law will be able to endure another lose again....

Hi Deanna, Oh! my, my heart goes out to you and your husband. It's always hard watching your loved ones slipping away. I think what you have asked is only what is laid upon your heart. I'll pray for you and your husband and father in law. God bless love and blessings Chris

We can only hope that the Lord will make the decision..Having just lost my brother and my mother in one weekend I have to feel that he decides and we have to believe there is a time written somewhere for all of us...God bless...

It's never easy to lose loved ones but God Provides us the strength to face ALL our days. You are corrected...Life and death are in his hand. God said not even a bird fall without the father knowing and the very hairs on our head are numbered (Mat 10:29-30) *2U

The GREATEST PRAYER is "Our Father's Prayer". His WILL and only His WILL must and will be done. This is what I stood on before my mother passed. God SPECIALIZES...it's only a TEST. Be STRONG and COURAGEOUS in the LORD. The Lord had me so rooted in grounded in him that it amazed the doctors and guards how I went through but GOD gets the GLORY!

Matthew 6:9-12
Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

*******There is nothing TOO HARD for the LORD...My prayers are with you and your love ones *2U

How hard for you, your Hubby and your father-in-law. I know what you are feeling - but, all you can really do is try to provide help and strength and prayers for those you love....and be there with them as much as you can. Is Hospice helping her and your family? If not, call them ... they helped us so much! Laura

THEY WILL NOT RELEASE HER FROM THE HOSPITAL UNTIL SHE FULLFILLS THE REQUIREMENTS...mY SISTER IN LAW DOES HOSPICE AND WILL BE THE ONE TO DO THE MAIN CARE (ALONG WITH THE REST OF US FOR BREAKS). THANK YOU ALSO FOR YOUR THOUGHTS

Camy, My prayer is always "Lord I pray that your will be done in this person's life. God has plans for all of us & that's what he wants but he also so the
Bible tells us has a permissive will, letting us, sometimes have what we desire even if it's not His will for us, just like we do our children, we let our children have things sometimes we know are not good for them but they want it so badly we give in. We r God's children, He is the same way by us & states " the effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. so pray for what u think is best for your MIL Camy & do not feel guilty. God knows what is in your heart. HUgs Lillian

Deanna, just pray that God will relieve her pain...be that here on this earth or in her heavenly home. Either way she wins!! Then rest in the Lord. I know it's so hard to watch a loved one suffer. The only thing I can say is, you will be able to tell someone else "I know how you feel and will pray for you." Only when you walk the road, can you understand others pain. Will be in prayer for you and your family as you pass through this time. Love & hugs to you.
