This is my cushion for our project last week. The fairy is from n-needlework. I had done her first and I had sewn satin flowers from the shop at the bottom of her body but decided that I would place it back into the machine and add the embroidered flowers so there was no gaps instead. The flowers i cant rember off hand where they came from, I played with a lot of designs before deciding in this one for this time. I also wanted to have the effect that you were looking at her through a window. Wasn't satisfied with that so added more flowers from the shop. The lace bows in the corners I made them, they were a free sample FTNOA (From The Needle of Anne). I then gave her some jewelery and jazzed her up with crystals. Oh yes the cushion is made from scraps from delustered satin.

Thank you Sheryl, yes just got busy on the rag quilt and another one to cut out. I think all the cushions were great in all there own ways with the different styles. I learnt something from it anyway and I guess thats a good thing.

Thank you Shirlene, yes I like the extra's as well and I think it is great how when you click on the picture you can see it better and then click on it to zoom more and boy you can see every little stitch. I will have to make sure on my stitching that it's straight. lol

I love Designs from the needlework. The cushion is just very beautiful. The 3D effect with satin roses I particularly like. You see actually the "window" effect *******

Sandra, This cushion is WONDERFUL! I love the way you embellished it. It looks like something out of the professional trunk shows we get at our shop. I am in awe!
