A friend at work wanted me to embroider some towels for the ministers at her church. This is the first group she needed done. There are apparently another group of 5 that need to be done.

Yeah...My friend said that after the towels are done. she would like me to do some T-Shirts for the Boys group she volunteers with.

Um, yeah. I hope you didn't get 'volunteered' for this assignment. Giving of your time is one thing, but all that thread & stabilizer gets expensive! Good luck! Marji
Well, she is SUPPOSED to pay me, but she keeps forgetting the money. I feel like it wouldn't be very christian of me to keep the stuff until she pays.but I can't keep just giving it away.

Well, since I really have no clue on how to charge for these things, I suppose they are paying me enough. They provided the towels, and are paying me for the embroidery. They set the price at $10 each. I have to wonder if that is too much.
In the shopping centres in Australia you pay about $15 to just have a name embroidered, so I don't think $10 is too much even if it is USD as you have done a lot of embroidery on them. I think they got a bargain!!! Cheers Claire
