Here is a beach bag/tote I made for my SIL who loves to spend everyday at the pool or beach. It's made from placemats I found on clearance sale. I added a front pocket with an embroidered sun design and also made a lip balm holder/keyring with a flip flop embroidered on it. It's large enough to hold all the essentials needed for a day of fun in the sun!!

This is very nice, and you have it all covered - lip balm, key chain, and the extra pockets. Good job.

Love the idea! I'm always seeing odd numbers of placemats on sale - now I know what to do with them! Thanks!
