This is the Diaper Cake I made for my future DIL's Baby Shower. We knew that she was expecting a Girl!
This was such a fun project - I saw this at the Louisa Meyer Original's Website but used different Embroidery Designs around the sides! It was a HUGE hit at the party! From a distance it looked like a REAL cake! LOL
I am posting just a few pictures to show you what I made!

Thank you! Not really - The only thing that took 'time' was rolling up the disposable diapers! Otherwise it was really a fun project to do!

My DIL LOVED it and at first she did not want to take it apart! Eventually she realized that my GD would not be able to utilise the diapers as they would not fit as they are NEWBORN size - I still think that if she had her way she would have kept it on display in the room up until now! LOL

These are the most fun things that I do. I LOVE them and have such a ball finding just the right theme, colors, etc. You did an absolutely amazing job. I know this made a perfect centerpiece.

It's lovely! They make impressive centerpieces, don't they. I made one for my daughter a couple of months ago and used elastic as a 'third hand' to hold the diapers together till I could the embroidered piece around it.
