This is the First Cot Quilt I made and it was for my GD! I was rather nervous but also enjoyed it as I LOVE to embroider! The Suzie Zoo designs were a delight to embroider and they gave me no problems what so ever! I LOVE Suzie Zoo!

I used a Gingham /Check fabric in Pink, Purple and Yellow to complete the Quilt!

When my SIL saw this she asked me to embroider some SZ Blocks for her as well so that she can make a Quilt for her son - he is not even married or even thinking about it, but she wants to put it away as she was diagnosed with Cancer last year, had her last chemo treatment 3 months ago, now diagnosed as clear, so she just wants to ensure that in the event that she is not here when her son does have a child in the future that there are some cute baby items for him that she made! So sad it makes me cry just typing all of this as she is so special to me!!

Beautiful! It is very nice of you to make blocks for your sister-in-law. I hope and pray that your sister-in-law will be able to give her grandchild the quilt herself.

Oh Sandie, this is just gorgeous. I love purples and mauves etc. What a delightful idea too for your sister in law to have some blocks made for her yet unborn grandchildren.

This is a true heirloom and a wonderful legacy for anyone to leave behind.

God bless you and love and blessings Chris

This is so pretty, you did such a good job! I am so sorry for your SIL, but I think that her idea is wonderful! I have things made for me by my grandma, for the day I got married. She passed away before I got married, but I treasure what she made for me. I also treasure things my mom made that my children wore long after she had passed (children she never met). But of course we will remember your SIL in prayer, so that she is around when her son marries, and has his own babies! Thanks for sharing this picture! :)
