This is so lovely, Sissi! Just a suggestion, dont get me wrong, please. A teacher's bag is very heavy!!! Maybe the handle should come from the lateral sides to support all the "teachers stuff", mostly books. Otherwise, it is beautifully done! Love, Yoriko

Thank you for the advice Yoriko :o). I thought to double the seam of the handle and the bag is reinforced with cardboard on the inside. I watched his previous teacher's bag: apparently, it is not too heavy. :o) (I hope)

This is a really really cute idea, and well done, Sylvie!!! Do you have a hoop big enough to sew all those alphabet letters, or did you have to line them up!! I'm sure this gift will be used a lot, and the teacher will be proud of it! Hugs, Marji

I have not a 5x7 hoop ... I moved my fabric for each letter: I have marked with benchmarks :o)
