And to add to Mary's post. It's easy to know when you have a Private message because you will have a number + in the private tab. Easy as embroidery.lol

I've only seen the private tab a couple of weeks ago and there was a + on it. When I looked someone had sent me a message ages ago. I have now replied saying sorry for seeming to ingnore them.
I felt so silly, but keep promising myself I will familiarise myself with all the features of this site, but then I get reading the posts and before I know it I need to close out and attend to the rest of my day! :)

I have a question about the Private tab. I received a PM ages ago but only answered it recently. (See below I had not even noticed there is a private tab!) My private tab is still showing +1, as I've now dealt with this message, how do I remove the +1 sign please. Hope this makes sense.

If you responded to the message it should disappear. Are you sure you don't have another message there.
