I bought these jeans for $10 just to embroider on. :) Figures if I messed them up I wouldn't be out that much money. Since this is my first try at jeans, I wanted a simple pattern. I used Veronica's GoldPattern839398 for the legs. I mirror imaged the middle design so that the design changed directions. The jeans didn't have pockets so I used pattern831690 in the back pocket area. I think they turned out ok for my first try.

How elegant! I love that Gold Pattern, it's so lovely, but in these colors, very elegant and understated. It would be beautiful in a tone-on-tone, too!! Great job for your first go at jeans! Hugs, Marji

You did a great job. They really turned out very nice. I have wanted to do this to some of my jeans and just haven't done it yet. This inspires me.

Thank you. It took longer to unstitch the legs than it did to do the stitching (at least with this design).

They look fantastic! Being fairly new to this - how did you embroider the leg - do you have to let out the seam?

by dkjack 27 Jun 2009
Thank you. Yes, you do let out the seam. That is what made me so nervous. But it was easy to let it out and get it stiched back up.
