because stupid me ran over a pin and ruined my cutting blade. Boy, was I mad at myself, oh well, it needed service anyway. It is the third serger I have purchased, and I like it better then the others I had in the past, so much easier to use and thread. I remember struggling with trying to rethread the others. Hugs.

Oh yes... I LOVE the imagine. The workbook is very helpful too. I am fortunate because I live 2 miles from my dealer so I'm able to take classes. I recommend to everyone that has a serger to invest in Nancy Zeiman's "Serge with Confidence" series and a workbook for your machine. Makes the learning curve not so drastic.
My Ellisimo is in the shop right now, so I know how hard it is to be without a machine! Everyone in the house is out today so I was hopeful to have a day of finishing sewing projects, but I won't get it back until next week. So I'm spending the day wiht my friend MM on our IM. :-)

lol yep we are here together all day anyone wanna join us lol
Simplyrosie, I am green with envy!! I want the Ellisimo so bad I can just about taste it and there is no way I can afford another embroidery machine. I have 3 and trying to live off of disability for the last 5 years. I was doing great as long as I stayed in my small town USA but I let my Son talk me into moving to the Atlanta area with alot of promises that turned out to be nothing but lies from him. It is impossible to pay what I need to pay up here and I am having surgery twice a week on my legs trying to keep from losing them. By the way, they are doing great! All of this was to get them well enough to have skin grafts and now they are healing on their own without the grafts. I have severe arthritis and poor circulation. Alot of days I can barely get out of bed but I do no matter how I feel. This has been a 15 yr fight and I do not have any intention of ever giving up!! When I meet my maker is when I quit trying. I do have some fairly good days sometimes so that keeps me going. That and my 2 little Pekingese Girls, Bebe,13 and Patty, 4. They do not know that anything is wrong with me and we go out at all times of the day and night. I get alot of exexcise up and down the steps!
I have an Old Singer Quantum XL 1000, a Baby Lock Esante and the Ellageo. I do not use the Singer unless I need a design that I have on the Singer memory card. I have to learn how to use it all over everytime I turn it on. I also have a Memory Craft regular sewing machine that has built in embroidery designs in it but they are small! That was what started everything!!! I got the fever. I also had a husband. Got rid of the husband and then I found out that I could do just fine on my own. I do not think I ever missed him a minute and that has been 30 years ago! You can bet your life there will never be another one either! No joke...Fact! One was enough. If I got another one like the first, I would end up in prison! I just was not made of the stuff that could put up with an idiot that knew everything! We were married for 16 yrs and that was a 15 1/2 too many! If I am not crazy by now, I can withstand most anything. The older my son gets, the more he acts like his dad. My son did not leave home until he was 37! Enough said on that subject!
Sew us some pretty things on your machine and send us some pictures. I am so afraid to go and try one of the new machines out. I am afraid I will be crazy enough to try and get it! Linda
