Oh my gosh, that happened to me on Friday... my machine locked up on me so I had to take it down to the shop. Got it back last night and resumed the project. I was so ticked, but what's a girl to do? :-)

Happened to me just recently. Yes, I hate it, but then I think how fortunate I am to have my machine & how much I enjoy it. In everyone's life a little rain must fall& when the machine messes up it's pouring *

GEEZ!! I sure do know what you mean!! I recently was doing a design that was in a tight spot. It was a real chore just getting the hoop under the embroidery foot. Then I had to babysit the whole time to make sure the escess fabric outside the hoop, didn't flop under the needle (this has happened to me TOO many times that I leave the machine for just a minute). I was down to the last color and almost done the design when the bobbin ram out. UGH!!! I was sure that just having to remove the hoop from the machine would cause the fabric to un-hoop and I'd never get it lined up right, again. THANK GOD, all went well, and I was able to complete the design without a tragedy!

Boy do I hate this! and it is always something important that I want to get done! But I am so glad to hear that this happens to the "experienced" people here on this site. I thought all along that it was just something that I was doing wrong! Thank you for sharing this. It makes me feel much better.

Bobbins run out on me now and again. But can't say I don't expect things like that to happen. When hand embroidering there were always a couple of stitches left when the thread was at its end; when hand quilting there are so often just a few stitches left to do; when knitting I have to start on a new ball of yarn for the last couple of rows... But I still hate it when it happens.
