I made this for my daughters birthday in May. Thought you might like to see it.

The fabric is panama from Spotlight. The embroidery design is a built-in on my machine innov-is 4000D Brother. I made all the FSL and worked it around the doily. later after checking on the instructions I discovered that it could go on a doily but was more for velcro or gluing onto a candle. What a surprise that was, but it was too late it was on the doily now. Anyway I did it all with the purple tonings to match a lounge that my daughter had ordered and did the green to tie in the embroidery design triangle in the middle. The funny thing is that when the lounge order arrived, half was the right colour and lounge but they had sold the other purple one that she had ordered and so she couldnt get another purple one because they were out of stock and couldnt get another one. So she picked a darker blue. And no! I am not going to make another one in blue. I made three doily's and all for the purple.
