These are two squares about a metre for my neighbours children, Matthew is more a boy's pattern with shell edging and less lacy, Madison is lacy and I did a Picot edging. I did a boat for Matthew as the boat comes from Bristol UK,

and Madison the bear from here I think cutting up my daughters old velor trousers. I did each back with the same colour thread which I have never tried before- it worked, one backed with towelin and the other more velor.
