Today was the first time in ages that I have done any sewing due to work. I spent time deciding on fabric and carefully hooping, then after most of the design had sewn a thread under the embroidery caught and everything jammed and came out of the hoop. (this has never happened before) I tried to re - hoop but the pattern did not join and I gave up. SO please Cuties ideas to re-hoop should I need to again half way through sewing a design. Thinking about it I could use a water disolving pen and carefully mark everything first. Thanks for all the replies.
Also, you should use your software to print out a template and set up your design in the hoop to match your template,
Then, if you do have problems you have something to work from to rehoop, to help you find the centre of the design, giving you a better chance of realigning your stitchout.
Hugs n roses, Meganne
PS, I always use VANISHING marking pen to mark centre crosshairs, also top tobottom, left to right and diagonal from corner to corner.
