I had to share this. We caught Nicole stitiching out the panels for her table topper. She looks like she is really concentrating on her work, but she is actually reading a book while it machine was stitching! She was quite capable at multi-tasking, and making sure that she did not was a minute. Nicole is an avid reader, and is on the 4th book since we got her on Tuesday.

She looks so intent! It's great that she loves to read, and that she can do it while looking over the embroidery project!

She has kept her nose in that book most of today. Nearly finished, now she wants the second one of the series, but it does not come out until August. It is usually easy to get her something that she will like - books, or Borders, or Barnes & Nobles gift certificates.

Beth, this is a great picture of Nicole - she did such a great job with this project for her mother - she should be extremely proud - I do believe that her reading - is another great thing, as well. *4U

Thank you - She has been a joy to have here the last 3-4 days. You hardly hear anything from her, for her nose is in a book. And we too are glad that she loves to read. The only problem is keeping her in books.

We fully agree - this is the GD that I used to call Lady Bug, but she is growing up too quickly. She is the youngest of our grandchildren.

Good way to use your time wisely. Reading is a wonderful habit to instill in all children.

The female was born to do many things at one time! We are unlike the male that can not walk and chew gum at the same time. Now...Do't get upset, all males are not like that, just the majority of them. If you have one that is different, you should be really proud of him. Praise him and maybe he will learn how to do 3 things at one time. Maybe... if you are lucky... and there is a guardian angel looking over you and him. heehee

I too read a lot, and have enjoyed being able to work from home this year. I spend the time tta I usually spent in the communte reading now. It is a pass time that I had almost forsaken - but love it.
