I got the pattern from a class I did at our local Sewing shop . But you could easily get a pattern from a Hexagonal cake tin bottom, sides and bottom again for the top. cut 1 of each same size and then another either larger or smaller. cut in cardboard. the base for the material. The material was cut about 1" larger all around. it was then glued on to thin wadding on the inside only( I think)I intend at a later date to make some more. I don't know whether to buy the cardboard cut outs or make my own. Making your own is a lot cheaper .
