Do the pictures of our projects in the gallery have to be using designs from this site alone?

No, it doesn't say anywhere that they must be from this site. It just says, " Show us your projects!" there are some from this site and some posted that are not from this site. I think it is just a place to share and display your work and perhaps give ideas to the group. I know I enjoy seeing what everyone else is doing. So, until we're told differently, POST AWAY!
