I have the 4D and have found that not all designs can be resized . . .. I have a beautiful set of sunbonnet ladies 4 x 4 and wanted to make them closer to 5 x 7 but when I did parts of the skirts etc were missing the stitch patterns. I spoke with my dealer and she said that not all designs can be resized, it depends on how there were digitized and aid I needed a digitizing program, can't afford that so that's all the info I have, I'm sure other cuties will give you more news......

I think the general rule of thumb is to not go beyond 10% for increasing and 20% for decreasing. I personally have had no trouble with regular designs, but I wouldn't try resizing on cutwork or FSL designs. I think Martine or Marji uses 3D and can better assist you with your individual program.
