That's so cool! I have heard that hair will grow back so much fuller and healthier after Chemo. I hope that Meg is thrilled with a new healthy head of hair.

I wear my hair very short. I am a natural blond. Very blond! I am 62 and it is turning. Most all blonds turn an iky shade of gray when it turns. I have never done anything like anyone else that I know. My hair around my face is an icy white like dark headed people turn. I use Loreal to keep my hair blond. Forget it! No amount of Loreal,no matter how long I leave it on will change the icy white around my face! I have tried several other brands and it the same thing around my face. It looks like it has been painted on there. My mom was one of the iky blond/gray but the color would cover hers up. Not mine. Everytime I get out in public someone says something about it. Most people think I have it frosted. Mother nature frosted it! My aunt is a beautician and when I was around 20 I decided I wanted my hair frosted. We had to do a reverse frosting. I dyed my hair dark brown and then frosted. My hair came out by the handfuls. That was not enough for me. I was crazy enough to let my aunt talk me into doing it a 2nd time. I thought I was going to have to buy a wig. "It won't do it again" Bull!!! Everybody in the family got a good laugh off of me. It was funny but not until my thick hair grew back. All the nuts are not locked up! I let her do it to me twice. I cut my own hair now and no one believes me. I would not put a curl in my hair for anything. It burns it to a frizz. The last time I had a curl put in I would not let the beautician leave it in the curlers but for 5 minutes. She was so afraid I would be upset and not want to pay her because I would not have curly hair. I had enough curl for me. It gave me some body and made the hair around my face frizzy. That has been at least 10 years ago. I can put my hair around a curling iron and it looks like I have a new permanant in it. I like my hair short and straight as long as it is not flat! If Meg does not love her new hair she still has a wig or she can dye it or color it. She can be any color she wants to be thanks to color in a bottle. I know it will be nice to have her own hair back and not have to wear a wig unless she want to! It will probably grow faster now. Meg is a real trooper and a sweetheart! She has a wonderful heart and a good soul. She has been through all of this with the mosy wonderful outlook. She makes me feel guilty when I complain and get down in the dumps about my situation and it is nothing compared to what she has gone through. Mine has been going on for for about 15 yrs but it was not this bad in the beginning. Sure I hurt but I was not disable to start with. Actually this thing with my legs started when I was pregnant with my son and he is 42. I had my 1st surgery when he was 5 yrs old but I lived a normal life up until about 15 yrs ago. That is, if you can call anything about my life normal!heehee I have never danced to the same drummer as everyone else does. I was always kinda of the odd person out. I did things my way and had a good time doing the things I enjoyed doing. I rode a motorcycle, played softball, basketball, tennis and was the 1st woman in Emanuel County to coach the boys Little League Baseball Team. I turned alot of heads with that one but earned alot of respect. We did not win but I had a good bunch of boys that all played and all improved. I did not run around screaming at them and cussing when they missed the ball. They had fun! I did not change anything except for that 1 season but I did earn alot of respect from the boys and their parents. My son was not on my team and they did not win either. I see Mag dancing to a different drummer also. She has high standards and principals and I admire her for standing up for what she thinks is right even if it not what everyone wants to hear. Meg is not afraid to say and do what she knows is right! She is not one of a kind but she is one of a few. When someone needs help, she goes to work. She does the research and sends them what they need to know. When she was so sick, she was still helping others. I think that we should have some kind of "Meganne Day" just to show her just how proud we all are of her! She was busy doing for all of us when everyone should have been doing for her! So shoot me if you don't like my idea. I am sure most will agree with me! Hip Hip Hooray for Megs Recovery! I know it is not official but she is doing so great now. We do not want to lose this momentum. We want to keep her going strong and getting better everyday! We love you Meg! Fuzzy Gray, Bald or Blond wig, it does not matter to us!
