Design is from "Stitch Delight" and I used "Coates" sewing thread , The thread was thin enough so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm going to try another style of thread to compare the 2. Each section has 25,520 sts . Multipfly that by 8 and THAT is a lot of stitches

Absolutely beautiful! A long time in the making with all of those stitches and having to join it together. Great job! Well worth the effort I think. What are your plans for it? For you or ???

This is just beautiful Ros - I love doilys. I am in the middle of doing some fsl and there are 48 thousand stitches in each section. It's taking 90 minutes to sew them!!!!! So this must have taken hours and hours!!

Love and blessings Chris
