That Clematis if beautiful Glenda. My Mum has one on her side fence and I can't remember the name but I think it's a name of a girl. I'll have to ask her tomorrow. Love Chris

Hi Glenda I rang Mum and hers is called Alice Fisk! It's gorgeous when in flower - aren't there some stunning ones in this genus?

Love and blessings Chris

This looks so nice. You have to talk to the weak one a bit more.

It looks great. I had a Jackmannia for years and then one winter killed it off. Should try it again, seeing how glorous it looks.

So lovely, Glenda! I agree with Angie, go talk to the weaker one, pet its leaves, tell it how much you think it's doing ok. Seriously. I'll bet you tell those things to the one that's blooming so magnificently, send it good, encouraging thoughts, tell it how proud you are of it. Plants have feelings, too... I know, I'm certifiable. But it does work. Hugs, Marji

It is beautiful. I always wanted one of those. But no place to put it that my husband won't mow over it. Someday I figure out a place!

Looks like all that advice about talking to the weaker side may be working as it is looking much better today, but then the constant rain we have been having could be helping as well....will keep talking though just in case...hugs G x0x0x0x
