Well, in Northwest Pennsylvania, this is the strangest July in a long time, I have to wear a jacket every morning and evening, and the high on Monday is only supposed to be 69F!! The corn and other crops are way behind, it's been so chilly here all summer. I'm not complaining, I don't like the heat, but turning on the electric blanket in July is ridiculous!! Hee hee hee, hugs, Marji

There are more Ga. Gals here than I was aware of! Born in Bibb county and now in Fayette county. I did not stray too far from my original home. Of course, if I could have my choice, I would be in Severe county Tn. To me, that is some of the most beautiful country I have ever seen. I almost made a move there a few years ago but I guess with my health the way it is the Lord knew what was best for me. When I get ther, I do not want to come home! The North Ga mountains are beautiful also. I am sitting here on this computer dreading going back out in the heat to get a prescription filled. I guess it is true that home is where your heart is!

Deanna, it is 102 here in Boise Idaho. No humidity thank goodness. Only down in the 70's last night. Very unusual. Usually it cools off at night.

In lower Alabama, along the Gulf Coast, only you can imagine. However, thank goodness we have had a cool front come through which is supposed to break the heat wave. Humidity is high and the temps reached the three digits several days for about two weeks. We are in the 90's today.

Really nice today in Greater Cincy ... however, one day it is nice, one day it is hot, one day it is raining, one day it is chilly, ... as the saying goes, Give it a day and it will change. I don't know if it is summer, fall or spring.

It says 97 in my part of California and my crazy daughter says she wants to go out and take a walk. I think it involves boys at the pool. Had to hurry her ice cream cake into the house quick!
Nice at the beach in Capitola yesterday though.

Camy, I live in West Virginia and the only 90 degree temps we have seen this year were in early May. We had like 3 or 4 days worth and that is all. Since then it has been anywhere from upper 60's to mid 80's. I would like to take this global warming theory of Al Gore's and shove it down his throat. Our summer is not even summer. It is like late spring. No sunshine, lots of rain and it has been a losy summer for the pool.

In East Tenn today was beautiful. It's been a nice July, so far. Strange. My daughter & family are camping somewhere near Chattanooga & it was supposed to be about 60 at night. Her 7 yr old was THRILLED to take her blanket sleepers!!! Tent camping, so glad it's going to be cool!

Uh yuck I lived the first 30 years of my life in Phoenix. Dry heat or not, anything over 110 is too hot. In CO Springs for the past 9 years now and LOVE it. Now I think the 85 temps we have been having the past few weeks is too hot!
Will be going to vacation in San Diego in a few weeks, cant wait!!!

9 pm in California (sacramento area) and it is 106. It is a dry heat though. That is when I miss the San Francisco area where it seldom gets over 80 degrees. I am hiding in the house. Love aircondition.

yes, I live in the Sierra Foothills above Sacramento on the way to Lake Tahoe and this is our 7th day in triple digits, I get all the watering done very early morning when it's cool, then I come in and do some embroidery most of the day, since it's too hot to be out.
