He had trouble breathing, so they went to the emergency room. The chest x-ray revealed a softball sized mass behind his heart, on his lung. There was NOTHING there in the February x-ray, they checked several times. They need to do a biopsy to determine exactly what type of cancer they're dealing with, so they can tailor the chemo and radiation to it. He will be home for a few days till they get the test results and determine an action plan. They feel that because it is so fast growing it is also more fragile, like an oak tree is slow growing and strong, where a poplar grows 3 feet a year but gets knocked over by a strong wind. They're hoping the treatment can knock it down pretty well. It's still a 'hope', not a certainty. Please pray for Bill, and also for Pam. She's scared, and needs strength to stay positive for Bill, and still take care of her kennel business. I'll try to keep you posted.
