When Internet was still in the early stages, (about 14 years ago) I - on a farm some 2 hour drive from Cape Town, decided to make my first $M by planting Lofah gourds on our farm. I went onto the internet and only found ONE page on Lofah's. I naturally clicked the question button and eventually started long correspondence with the person 'on the other side' - in the USA. To cut a long story short, we are now best friends, we corresponded for a few years then I decided to go and visit this totally unknown - totally convinced I would be chopped up and put in a freezer. I had a wonderful time and now visit Virginia regularly and my friend has even visited me here in South Africa. We often giggle and tell people that we met on the Internet --- not a chat page, but a gardening page. Who know what will happen in the embroidery pages! xx
