Do you mean a subscription to an embroidery magazine? If so, I think Creative Machine Embroidery is the best. I have subscribed to it since it began publishing. You can check out their website at www.cmemag.com. They have good basic information as well as great projects.

Designs in Machine Embroidery is also a nice mag...

I receive both of the subscriptions mentioned. I think I prefer Designs in Machine Embroidery over Creative Machine Embroidery. Just my opinion. Both are good and have good information. But if I had to choose only one I personally would choose Designs in Machine Embroidery

I don't mean to be a bum-er, but I would rather have a paid subscription to a embroidery web site. I can flip through the magazine while standing in line at the store. He! He! a freebie glance!!!!

My opinion: I was getting both Designs in Machine Embroidery and Creative Machine embroidery. I now get only Designs in Machine embroidery as I think it is better. I know you can flip thru at a grocery stand but......not like having it at your finger tips when you want. I wanted one embroidery magazine so I tried about all of the at one time or another and ended up with this one. Hope this has helped you. *4u all

Laura, that sounds great - but wouldn't you rather he spent the same amount of money that he would on a magazine - on designs or supplies for your embroidery? I would - but that is me - I do have a subscription to Designs in Machine Embroidery - but I only flip through it when it comes - then I look at the online one twice maybe. *4U

I have subs to both Designs in and Creative Machine Embroidery as well as Sew News. My adult male kids give the subs to me for Christmas...easy gift for them...then a gift certi. to Emb. Library or something for birthday! Love it. I like Creative a little bit better than Designs In...however, I must say I don't think I've done a single project out of either one!!
