Oh, I feel so bad for you. I heard you should tape it to the toe next to it and that might help ease the pain.

I broke a toe once, had it x rayed and the whole works and all they did was tape it secure to the next toe. It turned blue and purple. Did you know that more people break toes going to the bathroom during the night catching their toe on the bed post. Just a bit of info.

Oh, I feel your pain!!!! I have broken all except two of my toes, one at a time, during my life. I would tape your toe. I broke my last one a few months ago and did not tape it and now it is crooked and going under my big toe. I am taping it now and hopefully (ya right) it will straighten some. Take care from a sister clutz. :)

Ouch! Did they tape them together? I broke a toe one time & the doctor said to wear shoes (!) as that acts as a cast & protects the toe. He also put a piece of gauze between the toes before taping them together in order to wick sweat from between the toes! Kept the skin between the toes from breaking out in the summer when your feet get hot! Just a suggestion. I changed the tape & gauze daily.

An Hour spent with your grandchildren makes you feel
young again. More than that reminds you of just
exactly how old you really are. Hope it gets better.

Oh Ronny... you're not supposed to do that! LOL... those little buggers sure can hurt when they're broken, can't they! Stay off your feet my friend and take it easy. Get better soon! You have a lot to do with Simon coming!

I've done it too. It can hurt a lot for such a tiny appendage. Tape 2 toes together with a little cotton in between. Keep it elevated and try not to kick anybody. LOL

The only one I want to kick is me!hehehe
by sewmom 22 Jul 2009
I only said that because when I broke my toe I had accidentally kicked one of my kids while I was running on the sand. That's how I broke it.

that hurts I know, I broke my toe once. the doctor didn't do anything about it, but gave the advice to go various in a bucket or bowl with cold water for about 10 minutes and than in warm water.and try to keep changing the toe in warm and in cold water.and when you have enough of that; try to give the toe some rest, you can also support the toe ,by taping it to the toe next to it. and don't walk to much, give it time to rest and to heal! hugs and *4u

gosh. in my country, we seek chinese doc help too. for the rubbing etc. i fell down when i am young and my wrist bone poke up. So the chinese doc press it down while others are holding me because its really painful and i am screaming (no painkillers etc). Gosh. I am only 11yrs old or so back then. After that its just the normal chinese herbs bandage and i'm fine again.

U should avoid cold drinks in case the bone start aching badly next time too. Thats what we believe and I tried before and it really ached. Maybe toe is too small to feel the aching feeling inside.
