What's the difference between floral and flower? When I am hunting for a design I think it's a flower and it comes up as a floral. TIA ;D

I think it just comes down to common English language usage. Apart from 'floral' being an adjective and 'flower' being either an adjective or a noun, it really only matters in which context it is used...and Hey! apart from making file categories harder to sort, does it really matter? Floral usually denotes plural so I normally file a bunch of flowers under Floral, and single blooms under Flower. Hope it helps!

When I think "flower" or "flowers", I'm thinking of a rose stem, or a bunch of violets. To me, "floral" designs could be wreaths of flowers, or sprays, or flowers in a vase, or a quilt block with flowers, just something more than the flower itself included in the design. I have a folder called "Flowers", and they all get stuffed in there anyway, hee hee hee. Hugs, Marji
