I made this towel for one of my daughters who has a birthday on Tuesday. She has moved several times in the last year and with each move she has lost some of her belongings. Unfortunately, this last time the person she was living with kept about 8 towels that I had embroidered for her. They must have really liked them!

So I am surprising her with a couple of new towels. She loves dragonflies -- and so do I so maybe I will do some for me too.
This design is from Emblibrary. I also used varigated thread and added a row of decorative stitching with my sewing machine.
