how to start. Does any cutie have a suggestion about how to patch work with a central panel or where to find a pattern that may fit, plus how do you estimate how much fabric to buy. I dont want to buy too much as it is fairly expensive per meter. Any help gratefully recieved, cheers Ruth

Hi i do alot of patchwork,,their are alot of good patchwork books out,501 quilt blocks,Quilting for dummies,Quilters Reicipe Book are a couple that are easy to find in your local book shop. If you have not done patchwork befor i recommend that you go to a begginners class. Most Janome outlets run them,or will know where you can find classes. happy patckworking

Hi Ruth i did not know you were here in Adelaide. Maybe you can ask Ricky (who also is in Adelaide) "mpo 14011" she might have a few ideas for you. I am learning how to quilt and she has helped me with mine. Not only does she quilt but she is a great digitizer and has lots of embroidery designs on her website....Rickys Fun Things
