What is a good size in HEIGHT for a design on a wash cloth? I like i.e Turtle alfhabet, but think it is too big and think of reducing it. I believe 50mm is a good height. Agree? Thks 4 ur time!

I personally think even 50 mm is too tall for a washcloth. Be careful about reducing the Turtles though - unless your program can remove some of the stitching. Otherwise it will bunch up and quite possibly damage the fabric, or get caught up in the bobbin and literally make a real tangled mess.

Thanks Sandy, Now I know my own judgement is OK! Will have to search for smaller Alphas, etc!
I have several alphabets that came from a site (ERN) but I can't figure out what site that is unless it is Embroidery RN. The letters are only one inch tall (about 2.5 cm) I'll have to look later as I have company knocking at the door.
Sandy, You are very kind. Thank you!

I agree with sandynavas, 50mm is too big. Aim for around 20mm I think otherwise too much of the useful part of the wash cloth has design on it.
