can any help me out and tell me when i post a project why is the little flower by my project gray and all others are orange? am i posting it wrong? this is the first time i have posted anything

Mary, in the Projects section the flowers are orange until you click on them, then they turn grey because then you know you've given a flower there, and you can only give one each. Your own flower is grey to you because you can't give a flower to yourself. Here in the Community section, the flowers are green, then when you click on the flower to give one, it turns orange and says 'thanks'. Hope this helps, you're not doing anything wrong.
