Sometimes when littles go to pre-school or daycare, there may be a new employee or a sub that doesn't know, and with some allergies that could be catastrophic. It would be so easy to make a badge of the words, to pin on the child's shirt, hang around the neck, tape over the mouth (hee hee hee, only kidding, hee hee hee). But seriously, having food allergies myself, I know what a trouble they can be. And the child might not be able to tell properly. Just seemed like a good idea.
