I am making a comforter for a 1 yr. old. I need a baseball bat. Cannot seem to find them. I also need 3 ballons applique. I looked but didn't like what I found. Not sure where else to look.

try applique for kids they have some free ballons with a number. You maybe able to take the number out.

I knew there was a freebie out there for the 3 applique balloons but couldn't remember where it was till now..I was checking my groups on yahoo and found the design..You have to join there group in order to get the design.. it is 8clawsandapaw yahoo group in the files under misc..

Thank you all so much. Yes, I got the balloons and the baseball bat, now all I have to do is put everything together.....LOL and finish up. I will take a pic when I am done. I am just worried when I sewe together with the batting, I am not going to sew straight...I hope it comes out ok. Anyone have any tips?

Baste and I'm pretty sure there are special feet (walking foot?)to help keep the layers from moving. I'm not a quilter so I don't have the best answers. Hopefully someone else will have a really good tip.

That's it sewmom. A Walking Foot is invaluable when you are quilting and most of them come with a guide that you insert in the side that lets you sew exact distances from the last sewn line.

Thank you so much, just went out and got a walking foot. Hope I can figure out how to use it...LOL.
